Shah Bhogilal Jethalal Laboratory for Passive Fire System Testing
The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) inaugurated the “Shah Bhogilal Jethalal Laboratory for Passive Fire System Testing” on December 3, 2022. Mukesh Shah, Managing Partner in the Ahmedabad-based Shah Bhogilal Jethalal & Bros (AAAG India), has provided generous support for the establishment of this world-class lab.
The new lab, under the aegis of the Centre for Safety Engineering at IITGN, will have accreditation from international standards bodies and will assist Indian manufacturers in achieving global standards in designing and manufacturing universally acceptable products, which will boost ‘Make in India' efforts in this sector and help increase exports of such products from India. It will also assist in research and development and testing efforts for passive fire barriers to enhance fire safety in the country.

FirePlex-Agnisankul, an advanced Fire & Safety training facility, was inaugurated on September 23rd, 2023. This collaborative effort between esteemed Shah Bhogilal Jethalal & Bros. (AAAG India) and GSFC University, has raised the bar for Fire & Safety Training. The AAAG India Shah Bhogilal Jetalal & Bros has contributed more than 1 crore rupees in the name of well known senior most Fire Professional in the country and pioneering figure in Industrial Fire Safety Mr. DD Purandare. Further the FirePlex is approved training institute under Section 111A of Factory Act 1948 by Director of Industrial Safety & Health (DISH), GoG. Approval No:DISH/ A-LAW/2023/603 Dtd 18.04.2023.
Centre of Excellence (CoE) in F&EHS namely "FirePlex / Agni Sankul" over a piece of land admeasuring about 2870 sq mt. at the cost of about 2.5 crore rupees for imparting practical training and live demonstration in the area of Fire prevention, Fire protection, Firefighting and Rescue Techniques.
Established AAAG Research Laboratory at IIT Gandhinagar
Shah Bhogilal Jethalal & Bros. has established Research Laboratory at IIT Gandhinagar to further accelerate their research and new product development projects. The Shah Bhogilal Jethalal & Bros. Research Laboratory was inaugurated on 14th December, 2023. AAAG is deeply honored to welcome the director of IIT Gandhinagar, for the inauguration of the Research Laboratory in the presence of dignitaries from IIT Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad Fire Service and the AAAG Team.
This initiate will bring the latest technology in the firefighting equipment. This collaboration will further prove the great integration of the brilliant mind and the technology for the welfare of mankind.
